Sigmetrix Services Cancellation Policies


Please review the policies below to ensure you do not incur any cancellation or no show penalties. If you have any questions or concerns regarding one of these policies please contact training@sigmetrix.com prior to purchase of a Sigmetrix service.

Cancellation of Training Class by Sigmetrix

  • Sigmetrix reserves the right to cancel or change a scheduled
    instructor-led classroom course fourteen (14) calendar days or more before the start date, or seven (7) calendar days or more for an instructor-led virtual course. This would include but not be limited to, lack of participation, classroom and equipment or trainer availability. Unfortunately, factors arise that sometimes require this notification period to be less.
  • In this event Sigmetrix will provide notification via email within fourteen (14) calendar days of the instructor-led classroom course, or seven (7) calendar days for the instructor-led virtual course, whenever possible.
  • Students who have registered for the course in advance will not be charged for the course, and we will make every effort to re-enroll the student in an upcoming course.
  • Sigmetrix is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled course, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations. The customer or student’s sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees.

Student Cancellation/Change Policy

(Must be submitted to Sigmetrix in writing to training@sigmetrix.com)

  • Cancellations by a student received fourteen (14) calendar days or more prior to an instructor-led classroom course, or seven (7) calendar days or more for an instructor-led virtual course, will not be charged the training fee.
  • Cancellations 3-10 business days prior to an instructor-led classroom course, or 3-5 business days prior to an instructor-led virtual course, will be invoiced the full training fee. As a courtesy, we will allow you to apply 50% of your payment toward a future Sigmetrix Training course within one year of the cancellation date.
  • Cancellations 1-2 business days prior to course, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount without future training credit.
  • Registrant substitutions may be made at any time.
  • Please note that if you do not cancel or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
  • Because we have a limited number of seats we ask that payment information is to be provided to Sigmetrix within 14 days of registration.  If not provided in this time frame, Sigmetrix reserves the right to cancel the student’s registration.

Cancellation of On-site Services by Sigmetrix

  • Sigmetrix reserves the right to cancel or reschedule on-site services, including training and consulting, five (5) business days or more before the start date.
  • Sigmetrix is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled on-site visit, including, but not limited to, lost opportunities, revenues, or other scheduled activities.  The customer or student’s sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees.

Cancellation/Change of On-site Services by Customer

(Must be submitted to Sigmetrix in writing to training@sigmetrix.com)

In the event the Instructor needs to fly to the location:

  • Cancellations and changes received up to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to an on-site training or consultation service will not be charged the on-site service fee.
  • Cancellations 1-10 business days prior to the scheduled service, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount.
  • Changes/rescheduling 1-10 business days prior to the scheduled service are subject to payment equal to 50% of the cost of the service.
  • Please note that if you do not cancel, you are still responsible for payment.
  • Any unrecoverable billable travel expenses will be assessed to the customer regardless of when a cancellation or postponement is requested (e.g.: airfare change fees).

In the event the Sigmetrix resource can drive to the location:

  • Cancellations received up to six (6) business days prior to a single-day, on-site training or consultation will not be charged the on-site service fee.
  • Cancellations 1-5 business days prior to the scheduled service, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount.
  • Changes/rescheduling 1-5 business days prior to the scheduled service are subject to a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the cost of the service.
  • If payment information isn’t received within fourteen (14) business days of scheduled service, Sigmetrix reserves the right to cancel the engagement.

Training Event Schedules

Class schedules are subject to change without notice based on minimum attendance requirements. Please check class schedules frequently at sigmetrix.com. Sigmetrix may cancel scheduled classes up to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled start of an instructor-led classroom course or seven (7) calendar days for an instructor-led virtual course, if certain attendance minimums aren’t met. Minimum class size is two (2) students for instructor-led classroom courses, and three (3) students for instructor-led virtual courses.

Customer Travel Costs

Sigmetrix will not be responsible for reimbursing prepaid customer travel costs. It is recommended that customers who elect to incur travel costs for an instructor-led classroom course, schedule and purchase airfare and hotel accommodations with this in mind.

Refund Policy

Except for the cancellation policy described above, all payments and fees are nonrefundable. We ask that that each student assess the appropriateness of a training course by reviewing the course descriptions and schedules in advance of purchase or registration.
